Sunseeker 155

Sunseeker International has laid the first gelcoat on the new Sunseeker 155 Yacht, which is due for completion in December 2013. Robert Braithwaite, founder of Sunseeker, has high hopes for the vessel.

“Today is the beginning of the manufacturing process that will make my dream a reality.”

The Sunseeker 155 Yacht is the largest build to date by the Shipyard which can now lay claim to being the only production boat builder in the world to be manufacturing a range of composite boats from 40 to 155 feet in length.

With a 4,500 nautical mile range, room for up to 12 guests and 10 crew members, the Sunseeker 155 is a behemoth that weighs just below a colossal 500 gross tons. Prospective owners of the 155 Yacht are set to make a statement. The new flagship Yacht will incorporate innovative inset ship’s balconies, cleverly done garaging of tenders and toys, and a very private “megayacht beach club” with lower deck dayroom, folding platform and tender docking.

The Sunseeker team has been working on the model for the past three years, and it seems that when it comes to fruition it will be truly impressive. The boat may well be out of many people’s range, size wise and price wise, however Braithwaite embraces that, “She will not be owned by many, but those that do will be buying a craft of exceptional style, quality and innovation.”

Sunseeker International is delighted to announce that it will launch the brand new Manhattan 53 at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show (available to view on stand C040). The new Manhattan 53 is stylish and versatile combining all the attributes of a performance motoryacht.

An evolution of the Sunseeker flybridge sports yacht tradition, it is the latest, cutting-edge addition to the Manhattan range, and will be making its world debut consecutively at both Cannes and Southampton International Boat Shows. Following the unprecedented success of the Manhattan 52, the new Manhattan 53 offers increased space, volume and versatility. Sunseeker’s designers have been extremely careful to ensure a similarly optimised blend between interior layout, exterior social areas and overall proportions. The exterior styling is unmistakably Sunseeker, and the new, fresh approach to the interior décor brings the Manhattan 53 up to date with the very latest in fabrics and finishes.

Thanks to the latest design software, and use of a full size interior mock-up, every inch of interior space has been well thought through, and optimised to ensure the best possible use of space. The brand new hull design has been developed to provide increased beam lower accommodation, whilst still providing a sport boat feel coupled with safe, sure and predictable handling. This is further enhanced with the latest navigation equipment, the all weather convenience of twin helms and a crew cabin that offers a surprising amount of space over her predecessor.

Providing unlimited open-air fun and sumptuous accommodation, the Manhattan 53 will be just at home in more Northern climates as well as the Mediterranean. With an emphasis on fun with comfort this yacht delivers the excitement of Sunseeker’s true inimitable style.

Sunseeker International, manufacturer of the world’s finest luxury motoryachts, is to launch a new yacht from the Manhattan range at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show (16-25 September 2011). Once again Sunseeker continues to exhibit innovation and true craftsmanship across the Sunseeker range with a number of world launches.
Performances

This year’s show will see a show stopping performance from the talented Ronan Parke (recent runner up on the televised Britain’s Got Talent show) to mark the launch of the stunning new Manhattan 53 and the new luxurious Sunseeker interior range, in association with Armani/Casa. The official launch and performances will take place at 11.30am on Friday 16th September.
Incorporating Armani/Casa (available to view on stand C040) The Armani/Casa style presented the perfect opportunity for Sunseeker International’s design team to produce an exclusive range of interiors for its motoryachts. Sunseeker International have designed interiors for three yachts which will be on display; Predator 84, Predator 60 and Manhattan 63. The full range of Armani/Casa design elements have been considered for each specific design with the primary objective to create distinctive looks that best represent the breadth of design elements in the Armani/Casa collection. The exclusive Armani/Casa design collection includes a subtle and stylish blend of textiles, finishes, and accessories.

“The aim is to present a range of Armani/Casa design styles available to clients who may wish to create this dedicated exclusive style for their own personal yachts. The exquisite range is available across all of our motoryachts as an upgrade option” commented Stuart Jones, Interior Design Manager, Sunseeker International.

Sunseeker Germany Summer Cruise in Mallorca

The ingredients to making yachting fun include excellent logistical organisation, a carefree high-spirited atmosphere and a social get-together with like-minded Sunseeker friends. This year’s popular summer cruise, a permanent fixture in the Sunseeker Germany event calendar, was once again a real success this year.

On the 29th to 31st July 2011, a total of 92 Sunseeker clients and friends enjoyed the flotilla of yachts to the Balearic Islands, Formentera and Ibiza. This year’s theme incorporated a ‘Sunseeker Pirates Cruise’, and provided the ultimate pirate experience on water whilst revealing event details via messages in bottles. On the evening prior to the great departure, guests arrived at Port Adriano and got to know one another over cocktails and a barbecue.

On Friday morning, the party of 24 yachts set off in two arrow-shaped groups each with 12 yachts in the direction of Cala Llonga on the east coast of Ibiza for a first stop. Following a lunch break, the cruise headed towards Formentera, the most unspoilt of all the Balearic Islands and famous for its stunning sandy beaches. Many guests took the opportunity to cool off in the crystal clear waters and took the time to relax. An unforgettable image was the impressive sight of the motoryachts anchored in front of the restaurant Juan y Andrea, while the Sunseeker party feasted on delicious seafood specialties.

The following day, the flotilla set course for Ibiza and Cala Bassa. Here, fun and games awaited guests in the Cala Bassa Beach Club. Using the ever popular Seabob, the water babies cruised around the beautiful bay and sea, both above and below the water. The flotilla moved on to S’illa des Bosc and anchored there to enjoy the delicacies of the Island later in the day. Stopping for a swim in the enchanting small bay of Cala Benirras, provided the perfect ending to the three day Sunseeker Summer Cruise, along with many happy memories to take home. The Sunseeker Germany team were on hand throughout to assist with any questions and to help guests drop anchor at all times.
